ORKA 🎶 Vocal Journey & Ceremonial Concert at the House of the Rising Mojo

Orka is a musician, singer-songwriter and teacher whose work lives where music, ceremony and healing meet. For sixteen years she's guided people to open their voices, and what she brings to Mojo is a ceremonial concert that meets a singing circle, live music woven together with moments where your voice becomes part of it too.

She has this rare gift of opening the permission for you to tap into your inner rockstar, all while holding the collective in something so alive it'll give you goosebumps.

This one carries something extra. Orka has been part of the Ericeira community for the past year, and you might have crossed paths with her at the Mojo's grand reopening in 2025, or at the family market we co-created last summer. She's contributed something beautiful to this community, and this concert is, in a way, her going away party. She'll be deeply missed.

Amongst her most known offerings, her work with Orot a cocreation with Uria Tsur, built around singing circles rather than a single track, the song is whoever's in the room that night. A beautiful way to spend your Saturday evening in the golden of the secret garden with a few friends, enjoying the delicious snacks of our caterer.

We gather in the Secret Garden of the House of the Rising Mojo. A magical space, tended to with love, that has held us through late nights by the fire, slow mornings in meditation, yummy delights enjoyed and shared, songs and prayers offered under the trees. This is the space where authentic inspiration sparks and where deep connections take root.  This July, the space opens its arms to musical talents from different parts of the world. 

For this concert the snack bar will be serving plant-based treats and drinks (cash only).
